The situation: A new printer driver is needed. Simple enough. Except that ALL requests must pass through the sacred ticketing system. And the ticketing system… has other ideas.

Translation: Abandon hope, all who log in.

The Plane of IT: a labyrinth no mortal can map. Every path loops back to HR compliance. Documentation written in Infernal.

First Desk Demon: "Ah yes, this issue belongs to Networking."
Networking: "Not us. That's Server Ops."
Server Ops: "End-User Support."
Archivex Hourgrim (chillingly polite): "Foolish Operations… you have no power here. Access is power. Power is mine."

Microsoft Authenticator… code expired… re-enter… two-factor required…

Ulla: "Can we just fix it ourselves? Half the price, a tenth the time."
Archivex: "But the forbidden."
Garreth: "I've survived worse than Outlook downtime."
Archivex: "In IT, there is no victory. Only escalation."

Good news: Your ticket is closed!
"…Closed? You didn't solve it."
"We never said we would."

And thus, the Labyrinth remains… unconquered.

Caption: "There are some places… even I won't go."
(Archivex Hourgrim — Race: Human (corrupted by bureaucracy). Class: Warlock (Pact of Compliance). Personality: Chillingly polite, with a veneer of helpfulness that barely hides his hunger for control.)
